Grand Central Station Photography Meetup Workshop

We have a morning session and an afternoon session.  You may sign up for either one or both.

The afternoon session is listed separately in the upcoming meet-ups.

This vertical panorama shows a unique perspective of the main concourse of historic Grand Central Station Terminal in New York City.  This view shows the entire concourse from east to west including the beautiful depiction of the night sky painted across the ceiling, and the famous brass clock above the information booth. Grand Central Terminal, rebuilt in 1913, is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2013.

We will meet-up at the famous landmark that is the Grand Central Terminal Station in NYC on Sunday, May 18th.  We will have a morning and an afternoon session. We have been granted permission to bring along our three legged friend as well… Our tripods.

This time around we will explore the standard photographic techniques and employ a few different ones as well.  It will be a friendly meet-up where we can photograph and share with one another and have a fun afternoon, doing what we love to do… Photography. We will meet by the clock (no pun intended) half hour before the start time.  Our group will be limited to ten participants.

New York City’s Pershing Square bridge, leading to the Grand Central Terminal Station 42nd Street entrance with the Statues of Mercury (God of Commerce), Hercules and Minerva surrounding the clock which is the world’s largest example of Tiffany glass. Photographed right before sunrise.
