GWB Blood Moon

GWB Blood Moon

The first blood and total eclipse of the moon occurred on the morning of April 5, 2015. The eclipse was one of the shortest total eclipses to occur in years, lasting only four and half minutes.

In the east coast the eclipse began shortly before the sun began to rise and by the time it was a total eclipse the moon was below the horizon and not visible to us in New York City.

The next total eclipse of this year is scheduled for September 27,2015.
