Motif Number One Sunrise

The quintessential New England Motif Number One sunrise. Located on Bradley Wharf in the harbor town of Rockport. Motif Number One has been a long time favorite subject for artist, due to its location, lighting, composition as well as it being a symbol of New England maritime life.

After visiting for the first time to photograph the stillness of the waters and  the rising sun, it was easy for me to see why it has been a favorite location for artist and photographers alike.

Only wish I would of had more time to spend there, but it is definitely on my list of places to re-visit in the future.
